Description

Every well is completely different and there are many variables that influence the components that you will need for your specific pump package.  By knowing all the necessary information upfront we will provide you with an ideal Simple Hand Pump System that will provide years of outstanding, reliable, and quality service.

To customize your Pump Package use the drop down arrows to change & choose your preferred components.  You will see the price of your pump package in black near the top of the page.  This price will adjust as you make your necessary choices and changes.  See our Example Below to assist you in customizing your Pump Package.

Before customizing your well package, you must first know your well depth, static level, and well casing size.  We always suggest putting enough Drop Pipe to go at least 27-36ft. BELOW your static level.  So, if your static level is 50 ft. you will want enough Drop Pipe to reach to approximately 86 ft.  To figure out how many Drop Pipe you need divide the desired depth (86 ft. in this example) by the length of the Drop Pipe (9 ft. in this example). So, 86 ft. divided by 9 ft. = 9.5.  So, you will need approximately 10 pieces of Drop Pipe.

Out of the 10 pieces of Drop Pipe one will be a TOP Drop Pipe, and the remaining 9 Drop Pipe will be REGULAR Drop Pipe.  See our example BELOW of a 100 ft. Well with a 50 ft. Static Level.

Things to Know:
~The
new 105ME/GM12-8 DC Gearmotor is a wonderful addition to your Simple Pump System!  It will allow you to use a solar panel and batteries to pump the water for you.  This gearmotor has the following:

- A 21amp@14VDC rated toggle switch that can actually be exposed to pressure washer spray. It will easily handle driving rain!
- And an externally-accessible ATC/ATO automobile-style fuse holder with a 25amp fuse.  These fuses are a prong-style rather than glass-bodied.

~When adding the DC Gearmotor we recommend the 5 GPM if your static level is less than 100ft. and the 3 GPM Pump if your static level is below 100ft. It’s less work for the Gearmotor.

~If you are NOT planning on adding a DC Gearmotor, then we recommend the 5 GPM Pump for depths less than 150ft. and the 3 GPM Pump for depths below 150ft.

~If you have a roof over your well casing, we have shorter length drop pipe available in 54” and 27” lengths.

~The 36" Optional Lever Arm Upgrade cuts the down force in half.  You can swap out the 24" Lever Arm for the 36" Lever Arm.  If your down force is 20 lbs. and you put the 36" LA in place of the 24" LA the down force will now be 10 lbs.  This option will make a huge difference!

~Both Pump Models will allow you to fill your pressure tank with water so you can use the water facilities in your home during a power outage.

~If you want to hard plumb your hand pump into your existing water lines to fill your pressure tank you can do this with a pitless adapter.

~The PVC Drop Pipe is 1" Schedule 100 with an O.D. of 1 3/8".

~The Couplings have an O.D. of 1 3/4".

Things to Check:
~Do you have a submersible that sits at the bottom of your well or a jet pump that sits at the surface?

~Do you have any pipes exiting out the top of your well cap?

~If your recovery rate is slow you may want to purchase extra drop pipe to keep your drop pipe deep in your well.

~Is there a roof or structure over the top of your well casing to prevent installing 9' lengths easily?
