This little "Dutch Barn" stylePortable 4 x 8 Chicken Coop is just too cute to resist! It has an intelligent design with everything you need to keep your little flock of backyard chickens safe, dry and comfortable. It's the perfect size for the backyard chicken hobbyist. It COMES with the following:
• 7 roomy nest boxes and chickens will naturally share the boxes. The boxes are accessible from outside the coop for easy egg gathering. • 10" wide x 17" high chicken door with (detachable) wood ramp. Powder-coated latches to hold it open and latch it shut. • 14" x 21" Slider Window with Screen. Lets in plenty of light and fresh air. • 29" w x 48" high Side door allows access for cleaning coop, installing feeder/waterer, etc. • 42" w x 8" high Hinged Drop Vent, with vinyl coated mesh, on back wall. Metal latch with spring allows you to close it during cold or wet weather. • 2 Wooden roost bars. • Plywood floor. Glasbord®Upgrade available • 3-tab asphalt shingle roof. Ventilation The large window on the front of the coop includes glass panes both top and bottom. Raise the lower panel from inside the coop to take advantage of the screen.
A generous cut-out on the side of the coop allows in even more light and fresh air. Its vinyl coated mesh means chickens stay safe inside the coop.
A metal spring latch keeps the hinged wood panel tightly closed.
Electrical Package: Includes 1 light fixture with a 100 watt bulb, switch/outlet combo mounted inside, 50' extension cord (outside). If you would like an additional double outlet with covers it's an additional cost. See individual coops for pricing.
