Gourmet Supreme kits are lightweight and compact, and foods from them are prepared quickly. Minimal fuel and water are needed for these ready-to-eat meals, as Gourmet Supreme has a 100-percent no-cook feature. Hot or cold water may be used to rehydrate any Gourmet Supreme meal. Foods rehydrate with hot water in seven to 10 minutes and 30 minutes with cold water. Gourmet Supreme kits designed to last an individual 45 days to a year are available.
Versatile meal kits by AlpineAire have many of the same features as Gourmet Supreme. Versatile foods may be eaten as is or be prepared with hot or cold water.
Primary kits have the lowest cost per meal and feature basic items. With a 26-percent no-cook feature, Primary packages last up to a year for an individual and offer many items that can be combined or used on their own.
