Coop Delivery

Return to Chicken Coops

Coop DeliveryDELIVERY - How It's Done!

You've done all the planning and research. Compared prices, features and options and carefully chosen EarthWave Living to supply your new Chicken Coop.  The delivery date is fast approaching and you're wondering just what to expect when the big day arrives...

Just how do they deliver a fully constructed Chicken Coop?
EarthWave Living uses a truck and trailer or a commericial carrier depending on the size of your coop and the amount of Coop Deliveries in your area.

Our truck and trailers range from 24' - 60' in size giving us the flexibility to transport several coops together.  It takes only one of our professional, experienced drivers to unload your chicken coop.

COOP ARRIVAL ~ CURBSIDE DELIVERY
• Your coop arrives at your property
• Driver backs up to your Driveway
• The trailer is raised using a hydraulic system
• This enables the coop to slide off the back
• Using a winch the driver moves the coop about 1/3 down the length of the trailer so that the end is resting on the ground.
• Next the driver slowly pulls forward allowing the rest of the coop to slide off the trailer and onto the ground.

COOP PLACEMENT:  (Extra Cost)
• Be sure your site is accessible.
• Provide a suitably prepared site with access over a driveway or across, relatively level, solid ground.
• Provide adequate clearance around any trees, plantings or other structures on the property.
• If we can wheel your coop into selected area the fence opening or gate needs to be at least 12" wider than the coop itself.
