The Alpine Aire Gourmet Reserves® product line was developed to address the needs for emergency preparedness. Gourmet Reserves® is suited to meet the needs of individuals or organizations that desire to be self-sufficient during a situation where normal food supplies are not readily available.

We use our familiar, great tasting pouch recipes as well as everyday staples that are practical and easily incorporated into the daily diet. These AlpineAire Gourmet Reserves are able to supply both long and short-term food storage needs and are available in 100%, 75%, or 50% no cook options.

Our Individual #10 cans are approximately one gallon in size and are constructed of heavy-gauge steel with food grade enamel coating on the inside. A "state of the art" oxygen absorber is placed in each can to insure the very best shelf-life.

The Alpine Aire Superpak provides enough food for two people to live sustainably for a year, or one person to live as such for two years. Each Superpak kit contains several cases of freeze dried and dehydrated foods packaged in #10 and #2 ½ cans, with 56 different items available. Water just needs to be added to many of these foods, with the kit having an 81-percent no-cook feature. All cans, packaged oxygen-free, have a shelf life of five to fifteen years, depending upon the food stored.

No matter if one or two people are living off the Superpak kit, each person can comfortably live off two to three meals per day, with the average daily intake being 2040 calories. Many meal combinations are possible through the Alpine Aire Superpak. Each kit contains a selection of several entrees, soups, breakfast items, fruits, desserts, dairy, beans, grains, vegetables, and snacks. Entrees can be eaten individually, while the several grain, dairy, and vegetable options can be cooked together to form a meal.
