These highly efficient units with exceptionally low energy consumption require a smaller photovoltaic (PV) system for your refrigeration needs. SunDanzer units feature 4.33" (110 mm) of polyurethane insulation and coated steel cabinets. SunDanzer's high quality construction provides excellent reliability and long life. Super-insulated cabinets feature 11cm of polyurethane insulation with powdered-coated galvanized steel exterior and aluminum interior. A zero maintenance, brushless, thermostatically controlled DC compressor operates on 12 or 24 VDC. A patented low-frost system reduces frost and moisture build-up for low maintenance.
SunDanzer Chest-Style Refrigerators and Freezers are easy to clean using the drain hole at the bottom of the unit.

When your home requires solar energy, you want to minimize the aspect that consumes most of it: appliances. The refrigerator consumes a significant portion of your electricity – solar or otherwise – and any device dependent on solar power should have low energy consumption. SunDanzer refrigerators and freezers are such devices. Powered by solar, wind, fuel cells, or batteries, SunDanzer appliances only need a small solar power system to operate on 75 watts. For DC power, a SunDanzer refrigerator uses a DC compressor with 12 or 24 VDC.
A SunDanzer refrigerator is designed with thick insulation. Each appliance has 4.33 inches of polyurethane insulation and an aluminum interior. The outside is constructed of a galvanized steel exterior. Additionally, the refrigerator is made with a low-frost system to prevent buildup inside and the interior is cleaned through a drain hole at the bottom.
EarthWave Living offers several models of SunDanzer refrigerators and freezers, all of which use battery and solar power. Choose from sizes ranging from 1.8 cubic feet to 8.1 cubic feet.
