Country Living Hand Grain Mills have high-carbon steel grinding plates which last a very long time, and much longer than cast iron grinding plates.  These amazing hand mill grinders use two sealed industrial-grade ball bearings spaced apart on the drive shaft to increase stability and reduce bearing strain. 

Each Country Living Grain Mill has a large hopper which holds approximately 2 lbs. of grain or 5 cups.  It can grind virtually all dry grains such as wheat, peas, beans, corn, etc.  The optional corn and bean auger is needed to grind grains bigger than wheat.  The adjustable knob allows you to adjust the grain size from very fine to very course.

All are made from a V-groove cast-iron flywheel that allows for smooth turning and an exercise bike hookup. All systems for grain grinding are equipped with high-carbon steel plates and two sealed industrial-grade ball bearings spaced apart on the drive shaft.

A Country Living grain mill comes with a large hopper capable of handling two pounds of grain – about five cups – at one time. The hopper can hold and process all grains, although a corn and bean auger is needed for larger sizes. As grain sizes vary, each manual mill comes with a knob for adjustments.
