Electrical Package:  Includes 1 light fixture with a 100 watt bulb, switch/outlet combo mounted inside, and a 50' extension cord (outside).  If you would like an additional double outlet with covers there's an additional cost.  See individual coops for pricing.

Coop Placement: There is an extra charge to have your coop placed in a specific location. If our driver determines that he is unable to place the coop where requested, the placement fee will be refunded.  See individual coops for pricing.

Raising your own chickens as a source of eggs is one way to live sustainably. EarthWave Living carries several pre-made and portable Amish chicken coops for this purpose, all of which are designed with a sturdy construction to keep out predators and the elements. All chicken coops are made from pressure-treated wood to damage from moisture buildup and rot and to keep the inside dry no matter the weather outside. All chicken coops arrive fully assembled after purchase.

Common chicken coop designs from our store include an elevated style that offers shade for chickens below the coop and a roomy interior with nest boxes and wooden perches. A ramp also goes from the inside of the coop to the ground. Even with this basic design, you can customize your backyard chicken coop according to your needs. We offer a choice of siding types and colors, roofing types, shingle color, and add-ons like a chicken run and electrical features. A chicken coop and run pen still has all of these features but the chickens are kept in an enclosed area outdoors. Although they can roam freely in the area, the frame and wiring keeps them safe from predators.

Our small chicken coops are designed to hold three to five chickens and, on a larger scale, a coop can hold 30 chickens inside. If you expect to change the position of your coop often, a pull-it is one possible chicken coop design that will meet your needs. These coops can be pushed to a new location, much like a wheelbarrow, and are equipped with a chicken run.
