Underground water storage tanks, also called cisterns, are ideal for hauling drinking water or for use in place of a well. All underground tanks by Norwesco are made from 100-percent virgin polyethylene resin. The rotational molding process used to create the tanks allows no seams to form. These underground water storage tanks will hold 325 to 1700 gallons and come in rounded and ribbed shapes. All meet FDA specifications and ANSI/NSF Standard 61 for portable water. The polyethylene used for these underground storage water tanks does not rust or corrode. All larger tanks, additionally, should be filled one-quarter after installation.
