Our Individual #10 cans are approximately one gallon in size and are constructed of heavy-gauge steel with food grade enamel coating on the inside. A "state of the art" oxygen absorber is placed in each can to insure the very best shelf-life.

Making meals from scratch is still possible through freeze dried and dehydrated meals by Alpine Aire. One way to create a meal is by starting with a protein, and these #10 cans of meat by Alpine Aire are the perfect way to start. Each of these cans contain 16 to 60 servings of a protein, which ranges from ordinary chicken, beef, and turkey to textured vegetable protein for vegetarians. All meats are packaged without seasoning. Instead, the meats are diced and cooked first and, then, freeze dried for packaging. Combine a serving of any Alpine Aire meats with a vegetable or carbohydrate to create a full meal.
